  DON'T BE FOOLED!!!!! At first glance DCD seems great and you'll be promised a quick timeline and a fair price but once your kitchen is demolished Greg will become impossible to get a hold of for any issue and your 1 month project will turn into a 3 month project or longer... So if you want your kitchen or bathroom finished behind schedule and/or over budget then this is the place!

  We asked Greg Hersey to design and install a pantry area cabinet for us. He surpassed all our expectations. The unit is beautiful, functional and has lots of space.. One of the best decisions we made after getting into this house

  After sustaining water damage in our kitchen from a plumbing mishap, we were referred to Designer Cabinets Direct, LLC, (DCD) by the Florida Restoration Company. We did our due diligence and also contacted other companies to obtain an estimate for the work we wanted done. In addition to replacing four damaged cabinets and adding two new ones in the kitchen, we were also installing new flooring throughout most of the house. At his showroom in Largo, Mr. Greg Hersey, the owner of DCD, was professional and provided some design ideas. After our second request, we received his estimate and decided to go forward with DCD. In short, it was a nightmare that lasted for nine months. Once work started, Mr. Hersey became non responsive, refusing to return calls, emails, or texts. He wouldn’t come to the job site. He wanted an additional draw of money that was not in the contract and stopped all work in addition to refusing to order materials necessary to complete the job. There were many issues, failure of work people to show up, not ordering enough flooring material, failure to order backsplash material forcing a alternate choice, and never placing the counter top order. These issues resulted in lengthy time delays and frustration. The sole purpose of this review is to say buyer beware!
